Marcia Davis has been a central figure in the Northwest Arkansas arts community for more than a decade. Says Marcia, “My goal is to not only create art, but to also bring high quality artwork and diverse styles from different voices to our NWA community.”

As Co-Chairman of Art On The Creeks, Marcia is a driving force behind Northwest Arkansas’ premier art festival, which draws more than 80 artists from 12 states to Rogers each October.  Serving as Director for The Gallery at Midtown, she implements and manages a diverse group of artist exhibitions.

A successful artist in her own right, her work can often be seen about town and online.  Marcia’s inspirations are contemporary figurative pieces, utilizing paints, pen, charcoal and sometimes pastels.    She continues to experiment with her mixed-media art – which always brings out unplanned but happy surprises!  Her mediums of choice are varied – acrylic, oil, pencil, and charcoal.

Through the use of color, texture and her continued interest in learning how to better tell the stories of our lives and the people before us, Marcia hopes to create beautiful art that evokes energy and emotion.

Marcia graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BSEd and was a PMP certified Project Manager with Sprint World Headquarters for eleven years.  Visit Marcia’s website at:
